Just messing around with some TTV techniques using blanks that people have shared on Flickr. Check out the TTV Group… some really interesting shots. BTW… that’s Molly at the dog park.

I used Photomatix Pro to test the exposure merge feature. I didn’t bracket this in camera… I just exported three differently “exposed” images from Lightroom. Interesting.

Had to break down the KinoFlo setup in the studio , so before I did… I wanted to shoot some tests with a shallow DOF. I like the light. Me… not so much.

Last week me and the Indigo6 crew shot Andy Church for his forthcoming CD Sleeping in the Van. We’re (Indigo6) designing the album art and promo materials. More shots to come. I think Andy actually fell asleep.

I’ve decided to take the plunge and try to figure out just what is so cool about twitter. In an number of podcasts I listen to… guests and hosts alike have told people to follow them on twitter. Some of these people I actually like, so if they’re on twitter, maybe I should check it out. I know it sounds a bit funny, but it’s brilliant. David Hobby A.K.A. Strobist was featured on the latest Lightsource podcast. He was saying that he uses a tripod when he needs to light a very large space, so he locks the camera down and uses shutter speed to raise the ambient light. This is not a new concept, but the way David equates the tripod with a large light source is great. 

John McCain has it all figured out. He has a three-point plan to win the election just by using the color green.

1. Use green to differentiate from Obama
2. Use green as proof that he cares about environment
3. Use green to subliminally suggest that a vote for John McCain is a vote for economic rebound… mo’ money.

He doesn’t need to wrap himself in the flag… he was a POW! What’s more American than that? Barack Obama was never a POW… unless of course he was one of the those anonymous prisoners at Guantanamo? Come to think of it… his name kinda sounds like the guys they’re keeping at Gitmo. Hmmm…. I’m so confused.What do I do? Doesn’t green mean go?
